How do I deal with staff that were made aware of the expectations of the role and have received adequate training, but get so overwhelmed with being patient facing they can’t complete their duties?

Discuss with the team member what they need to feel confident being patient facing and have them understand that is the point they need to get to. Agree on a timeframe and monitor.
