Cancellations & Late Patients
Cancellations and late patients are not only costly, but they can also disrupt an ideal day in the practice. It is possible that COVID-19 anxiety will increase rather than decrease, the rate of cancellations for most practices.
In this session, we look at how to pre-empt cancellations and “fail-to-attends” by using powerful communication tools to educate patients in the treatment room and manage their expectations at the Front Desk.
We identify processes for dealing with cancellations and managing late patients. Using these processes will encourage your patients to take responsibility for their own oral health. These strategies significantly reduce Fail-To-Attends (FTAs), lateness and cancellations.
By effectively managing cancellations and late patients, your team will be able to minimise disruptions to the ideal day whilst maintaining relationships with patients.
